Hiking Meetups Ongoing

Wicklow Mountains Trail Network

We’ve established a regular rotation of guided hikes across Wicklow’s varied terrain—from steady valley walks to more challenging mountain routes. Over two seasons, we’ve led 24 meetups with an average group size of 12 participants, building a close-knit community of walkers.

Coastal Reserve Observation Programme

Monthly birdwatching sessions at three premier Irish coastal reserves. Our members have recorded over 80 species across the programme, and we’ve created detailed field guides specific to each location. New observers are paired with experienced spotters.

Astronomy Nights Seasonal

Dark Sky Stargazing Events

We host quarterly astronomy nights at designated dark-sky locations across Ireland. Participants bring telescopes and binoculars for constellation identification and deep-sky observation. Each event includes a short introduction on that season’s visible objects and celestial events.

Sketching Outings Monthly

Plein Air Sketching Excursions

Monthly sketching outings to scenic locations where artists work directly from nature. We’ve visited 18 different sites in the past year, with participants working in watercolour, pencil, and mixed media. A supportive, non-competitive environment where skill levels range from beginners to experienced artists.
